These classes will be taught in accordance with the method developed by BKS Iyengar, one of the pioneers introducing Yoga to the West. Brigitta, who will be teaching the course was a student of Iyengar himself back in the 1970’s.

Iyengar yoga is a world wide recognized form of hatha/physical yoga. The focus is on precise alignment, sometimes using equipment, and paying special attention to timing and sequencing. This practice has many aspects: from dynamic through to restorative.  Every individual can find their place, whether very fit or in need of more remedial practice.
